Welcome Back. Here's hoping we can do collectively better than last week. What a train wreck.
Oakland vs. Jacksonville is courtesy of last week's winner RagAss. Good pick -- Oakland showed signs of life last week.
Please post by Sunday, 1:00 pm EST. Good luck!

To save space on second tier I'll count consecutive weeks with a "-". So 1, 2, 3, 4 would be marked 1-4.

I usually just pick who I think will win.......but 10.5 points?? C'mon now, I know the Jets aren't gonna suck THAT bad, and it looks like they finally convinced Tebow to be a Running Back instead of a Halfback. Baltimore will be playing for pride the rest of the year now that should-have-been-a-convicted-murderer Ray Lewis is out.......Houston should run all over them. Cincinnati will continue their free-fall.
Oh yeah, and The Yankees suck

(29,322 posts)for saving me from a potential loss since I always pick the Cardinals. The injuries of Deuce Lutai & Levi Brown have caught up to the Cardinals. I expect Jared Allen to have a great game. The pass defense is still playing at a high level but the run defense is average and they're up against Adrian Peterson. Plus the Vikings are at the scary Metrodome. Arizona could easily be 4-5 at the bye week with games @Minnesota, vs a well-rested 49ers, and @Green Bay.

(31,171 posts)We've seen a lot of both teams, not so much the Browns and Colts. And the Luck/Weedan match-up is intriguing. Expect the Cards/49ers Monday night game for week 8.

(29,322 posts)Just expressing my pessimism over the Cardinals outlook for the next 4 games (@Minnesota, SF, @Green Bay, and @Atlanta). Ponder does have 4 picks in his last 2 games after not throwing any his first 4 so there is a silver lining.

(22,340 posts)so I'll spread out the NFC North love and go with the Lions/Seahawks for my game choice.
thelordofhell
(4,569 posts)I'm gonna pick the toilet bowl game........Raiders @ Chiefs
Now I have a question about the Bears/Lions game.......didn't the Bears cover the spread?? 6 was the spread and they won by 6......doesn't that mean that they covered it and thus, won??
Auggie
(31,171 posts)Bears had to beat 6. +7 points would have won, +5 would have lost.
Raiders / Chiefs ... you've got it. For the life of me I don't know why ...
thelordofhell
(4,569 posts)As for my pick.........at least it will make a few people care about the game
