http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/fox-terry-bradshaw-causes-stir-bucket-chicken-192645262--nfl.htmlWhile describing Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush's remarkable 18-yard touchdown run against the Indianapolis Colts, a play where Bush made half the Colts defense look completely silly, Bradshaw took a shot at his colleague, former NFL head coach Jimmy Johnson.
"Look at this, Jimmy," said Bradshaw, "like he was chasing that bucket of chicken that the wind was blowing the other day."

(31,173 posts)Bradshaw says he's having memory lapses that he atributes to all those concussions he's had over the years. He admittedly avoids repeating stats at FOX so he doesn't get them wrong and takes "memory power boost tablets."
I can understand how trauma like that could cause him to say something that didn't make sense or came out wrong.

(65,061 posts)He's a tool. He's been a tool for 30+ years. I'm sorry that he took the beating he did, but concussions don't excuse everything.

(31,173 posts)I've never found him funny, and he's the main reason I avoid the FOX pregame show. IMO he shouldn't have touched this subject with a ten foot foot pole, especially an inside joke such as this one. But having grown up close to people with head trauma, I can understand how and why it came out wrong.

(65,061 posts)I've had a concussion once. It took me 3 weeks to feel normal. And that was just ONE concussion.
But, he was a tool before he started getting his brain jellied.
And, i'll go so far as to suggest that his "jellified" brain made him lose his judgment and say what he always felt about "black folks".
