Is he really an MVP if a guy like Matt Flynn can step in and set franchise records?

Matt was not only breaking Aaron's records today, but also Brett Farve and the great Bart Starr. Just reinforces in my mind how talented Aaron Rodgers is. But then I may not be totally objective.

so you can expect a grossly out-of-whack Kevin Kolb-type contract for him next year.

I do remember when the Packers and Favre kept spinning out backup quarterbacks that started elsewhere--Matt Hasselback, Mark Brunell, Aaron Brooks--with more or less success but all with 80+ starts. Seemed like a factory.

The Lions played a good game. It's always tough, in this household, when it's a Lions/Pack weekend.
