About all people with tattoos. I'm sure you're going to be a stunner when you're 80.

but with time the skin is going succumb to gravity, muscle mass will deteriorate, and the ink will fade. We've all seen old tattoos. Not all are pretty.

Add changes in fashion and, in some individuals, beliefs and values, and I have a hard time justifying the permanent marking of my body. I felt that way at 16 and 25 and now. But that's me.

Ink away.

I can at least redo my ink so it looks nice.
My mom always wondered what I'd do when I'm 40. Well, I'm nearly there and my tattoos are constant. They'll be with me until I die, unlike everything else.

He's got tattoos. Who gives a shit? The tattoo on his back looks pretty wretched, but the rest are fine. His choice, no?

I swear, democratic pearl clutchers who cry about abortion rights, yet criticize people about body art are a bunch of hypocrites. Why can't people just mind their own goddamn business about others' bodies?

for the attention. I'm just reposting them here and allowing him to get more attention.

BTW, I dislike all tattoos. We old hippies would never have wanted to do something unnatural to our bodies - just our minds.

than destroy my mind. It's how I make my living (well, the mind part, not the body).
My tattoos are for my own consumption, not anyone else's. I happily cover them for work, as they're no one's business but mine (and my husband's, I suppose).

Let me clue you into something. 90% of my posts are to try to get a laugh. I use satire and sarcasm mostly. I'm too old to get concerned about many unimportant things, especially sports. I'm not "series" very often. You want to get a tattoo? Well, that's up to you. But don't criticize me for laughing.

But tattoos have been an artistic expression for thousands of years.

And of course you post stuff for laughs. Any Longhorn fan would have to to maintain their sanity.
