But...how in the ^$%#@& does a team get an "illegal formation" penalty on the FIRST PLAY OF THE SUPERBOWL !?!?!?!

I instantly flashed back to the Black Sox scandal...The gamblers were told to watch for "the sign" that the fix was in...the very first batter of that series was to get plonked - if he got hit, the fix was in. What happened? Very first batter got plonked...

I immediately thought of that when that flag was thrown on the 1st play...

I only made it to half-time, so I missed the rest of the game, but, damn, that sure looked fishy.
