+++ NFL Picks / Wild Card Playoffs +++
New start. New rules.
First, my post season playoffs are open to the first 29 to post their picks. I'm capping participation at 30, including myself, since I'm doing all the tallying without help.
Second, we'll play the spreads as we did during the regular season. There are eleven games total including the Super Bowl. Each win counts as one point.
Third, to make things more interesting, we're going to pick the OVER-UNDER as well. To pick the OVER-UNDER, which will be posted along with the spread, simply choose whether you think the TOTAL NUMBER OF POINTS SCORED IN THE GAME will be over or under what is posted. Spreads and the over-under can be found here: http://www.footballlocks.com/nfl_lines.shtml. Once I post them in the Sports Forum they do not change.
If you get the over-under right it will count as a point, even if you lose the spread. This way one could technically finish the season at 22-0 rather than 11-0. I think it will allow for a more exciting race.
Fourth: You must play every game to remain in the standings. Miss one and you'll be dropped. Four weeks shouldn't be hard. If you need to place your picks before I post them then send them to me by private message. Wildcards and Divisional spreads posted Wednesday. Conference and Super Bowl will be posted Thursday. Picks are due by first kickoff.
Fifth: For any newbies, please post you picks in the order I present them (see below). It helps me keep better track of the results. I thank you in advance. Any questions, let me know.
