Ex-NFL receiver Terrell Owens debuts as semi-professional bowler

Spurned by the NFL, 39-year-old Terrell Owens has turned pro in a new sport: bowling.

Owens, the league’s second-leading receiver all time by yards, made his semi-professional bowling debut this week, rolling games of 185, 129 and 161 for a 475 series at the United States Bowling Congress Open Championship, according to NFL.com.

Owens also owns the Dallas Strikers, one of eight teams in the new Professional Bowlers Association League.

His last NFL stint came before the 2012 season, when he was released by the Seahawks. He has not appeared in an NFL game since 2010.

Hell, it takes a few beers before I can actually bowl well. Kind of like pool.
