Paterno family to sue NCAA over Penn State penalties

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2013/05/29/new-lawsuit-against-ncaa-on-behalf-of-penn-state-to-be-announced-on-costas-tonight/2369547/

The family of late Penn State coach Joe Paterno is suing the NCAA for its execution of discipline in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal.

A spokesman for NBC Sports Network told USA TODAY Sports the suit will be announced tonight on Costas Tonight, broadcaster Bob Costas' 11 p.m. show on NBC Sports Network, after the NHL Western Conferenge Game 7. The spokesman, Adam Freifeld, said the show was taped Tuesday, and the suit will be announced by Paterno family attorney Wick Sollers, former Pennsylvania Governor Dick Thornburgh and family spokesman Dan McGinn.

Donald Remy, the NCAA's chief legal officer, said in a statement Wednesday, "Despite our request, the Paterno family has not shared any information about its planned legal action. Therefore we are unable to comment further about that at this time. We remain committed to working with Penn State toward the continued successful completion of our voluntary agreement with the University and to working with Senator George Mitchell in assisting that process."

I think they're getting bad advice on how well liked Joe Paterno was after we learned about his complicity in this matter.

Hey Paterno family: Gramps used his his influence to cover for a kid-fucker, and we all know it. He got off easy. You need to stop.
