Austin NBC Station Runs News Promo During Overtime, Misses Winning Goal
http://deadspin.com/austin-nbc-station-runs-news-promo-during-overtime-mis-514533238It's not exactly Heidi, but a major blunder by Austin, Tex. NBC affiliate KXAN deprived Lone Star State hockey fans the sudden-death goal that clinched Game 4 for the Blackhawks.
That a morning news promo—and a bit of a Kia ad and something featuring R. Lee Ermey—showed up at just the wrong time makes it pretty perfect. Perfect for us, at least, who are fortunate enough not to live in Austin. [KXAN]
