The DH doesn't really change strategy, since rosters are big enough and pitchers and hitters are cycled through anyway.
No one really wants to watch a pitcher try to hit off the best pitchers in the game.
NO ONE wants their pitcher to get hurt while trying to hit, or in the unlikely event they somehow reach base.
