Whos ready for football season? Well, apparently one group of Michigan students, as six of them (and one visitor) were cited by university police for unlawful entry into Michigan Stadium early Wednesday morning. According to the UM police department crime log, the group of late-night dwellers was cited at 2:41 a.m:
Seven subjects were found on the field of the stadium. A visitor and six students were arrested for unlawful entry. One student also was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol. One student also was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and possession of suspected marijuana. One student also was arrested for failure to ID. All were processed and released pending warrant authorization.
No one likes the gamble of landing student tickets to football games. Who knows where one might end up sitting? These Wolverines fans simply took initiative to skip the hassle and snag prime seats for the schools opener against Central Michigan. It didnt pan out.
