If baseball and hockey can realign, why not the NFL?

A co-worker and I were discussing this the other day. Doesn't this realignment make more sense than what we have now?

AFC East
Patriots
Jets
Ravens
Steelers

AFC North
Bills
Colts
Bengals
Browns

AFC South
Dolphins
Texans
Jags
Titans

NFC East
Giants
R*****ns
Eagles
Panthers

NFC South
Cowboys
Saints
Falcons
Bucs

The other divisions stay the same.

The AFC East would be a beast. Who wouldn't rather see the Ravens and Steelers play the Pats twice a year instead of the Browns?

Hating Dallas is more fun than rooting your own team in Philly, New York and Washington.

Cleveland Pittsburgh
Buffalo Miami

And so on.

Can't do it.

wanted them to do away with the divisions and conferences altogether and just have the top 16 teams make the postseason, but I guess the NFL wants to keep them in place in order to preserve the rivalries.
