According to multiple media outlets, The U will be stripped of nine football scholarships as part of the sanctions levied on the football program in connection to the Nevin Shapiro impermissible benefits scandal thats dragged on for nearly three years. Its believed those scholarships will be lost over a period of three years. Additionally, as of today, Miami, cited for lack of institutional control in the to-be-released report, will be on probation for a period of three years.
I love the fact that the NCAA took the word of a known liar and thief. That was the extent of their investigation. It took them 3 years to come up with this. Unreal!!

Just read that they will take the sanctions and not appeal. Good--- let it be done.
3 scholarships a year for 3 years doesn't hurt them that bad...plus it starts in 2016.
The Hurricanes self imposed bans on the last two bowls worked well.
