Sky News breaks news that RG III came out...

British diving star, Olympic medalist, and former World Champion Tom Daley came out and announced he was gay in a YouTube video. Daley's announcement comes on the heels of Jason Collins, Robbie Rogers, and several other prominent athletes making the decision to come out publicly.

To commemorate Daley's announcement, Sky News in the UK produced what else, a slideshow of sports stars who came out. Included are the likes of Collins and Rogers as well as Welsh rugby star Gareth Thomas and Martina Navratilova. And also... Robert Griffin III?!?!

When did that happen???

I think there are (gay players) right now, and if they're looking for a window to just come out, I mean, now is the window. My view on it is, yes, I am a Christian, but to each his own. You do what you want to do. If some Christians want to look at being gay as a sin, then thinking about other women, committing adultery – or any of those other sins that are in the Bible – those are sins, too. And God looks at all of us the same way."

RG III has never even remotely suggested he was gay. His opinions on gay players are one thing, but the dude is married..to a woman. Sky fucked up.

except that Griner is female, plays basketball, and is a heck of a lot bigger. And if you've watched RG III playing this season, she's probably stronger too. Other than that Sky is right on the mark. Perhaps Snyder and the Redskins should sign her up..
