Tennis - American Ryan Harrison scored a morale-boosting win on Thursday in the first round of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. Harrison, who has had the misfortune of regularly drawing some of the top players in early rounds in tournaments in recent months, defeated Kazakh Andrey Golubev 6-4, 7-5 on Thursday to set up a second round showdown with Italian seeded player Fabio Fognini.
Also on Thursday, American Tom Smyczeck beat compatriot Jack Sock in three sets and 35-year-old Michael Russell beat fellow American Donald Young in three sets ...

I think the Federer vs. Djoker match is 5 eastern today ... but if I watch he won't win so I'll check back here later.
