Bertha V.'s wife cracked her up last night.

From Bertha's FB page: "We both hate how the local media worships Washington's pro football club, and how at least three nights out of five the sports lead on the 6:00 news will be about that team -- no matter what season it is. She told me that the sports lead last night was that a member of that football team farted and will be on the 15-day DL."

Washington has a pro football team? I had no idea! What's it called?

that Matthew Berry, fantasy football guru, and dyed-in-the-wool-forever Washington fan managed to refer to them for the entire season on his "Fantasy Focus Football" podcast as "the Washington Professional Football Franchise."

That's in five time weekly hour-long podcasts from August to December.

The only time he switched up was after the occasional game they became "the Washington Semi-professional Football Franchise."
