Kings take game 1 in OT

Justin Williams does it again. I don't think the Rangers' speed can overcome the K's muscular play. And IMO Quick is a tiny bit better than Hank.

I have been a Hawks fan for 50 years. Seabrook was napping on Toffoli's goal. Gaborik beat Hoss and Hjalmersson to the blue paint on his goal. They just weren't quite good enough this year. IMO they need to replace Bolland somehow.

Tonight he was just as good, but Lundqvist faced 15 more shots. The team in front of him pretty much disappeared after the 2nd period, and Dan Girardi made a Buckneresque play in his own zone to end it.

Bottom line imo is the Rangers have to play to the top of their ability to beat the Kings whereas the Kings can afford to muddle through like they did tonight and still win.

That's their game. Makes me grind my teeth watching them. As you say if both sides play at the same level kings will probably prevail. They were able to overcome the firepower of the sharks, ducks, and hawks. No reason to bet against them.
