Suck on it you Jealous Douchebags Pt3?

Well someone had to do it! My apologies to RockaFowler and Trumad. Didn't actually think it was gonna happen. Still not a fan. I'm gonna be interested to hear what my cousins in Cleveland think

7. James opened his letter announcing his return to Cleveland as follows:
Fri Jul 11, 2014, 02:10 PM
Jul 2014
"Before anyone ever cared where I would play basketball, I was a kid from Northeast Ohio. It's where I walked. It's where I ran. It's where I cried. It's where I bled. It holds a special place in my heart.

"People there have seen me grow up. I sometimes feel like I'm their son. Their passion can be overwhelming. But it drives me. I want to give them hope when I can. I want to inspire them when I can. My relationship with Northeast Ohio is bigger than basketball. I didn't realize that four years ago. I do now."

and

"I see myself as a mentor now and I'm excited to lead some of these talented young guys. I think I can help Kyrie Irving become one of the best point guards in our league. I think I can help elevate Tristan Thompson and Dion Waiters. And I can't wait to reunite with Anderson Varejao, one of my favorite teammates."

and

"I’ve met with Dan (Gilbert), face-to-face, man-to-man." "We’ve talked it out. Everybody makes mistakes. I’ve made mistakes as well. Who am I to hold a grudge?"

Very mature sounding. He is very driven by needing to be loved and respected I think. And if he gets Cleveland a championship.. He will be worshipped

I think if he had left without the big todo of "The Decision" and the not 1, not 2, not 3 etc and the giant self promo video, he wouldn't have been nearly so hated. People in Indianapolis don't hate Peyton Manning for example. People in San Francisco don't hate Jerry Rice or Joe Montana for finishing their careers elsewhere.

But I don't know that I fully buy LeBron James changing. He's still going by King James and in the previous finals after he made that impressive block on Tiago Splitter, he stood and preened rather than going down the court with his team mates.

The spectacle of it all was the easy scapegoat but if he choose Cleveland on the show you wouldn't see much hate.

Wade & Bosh the day before went to ESPN or ESPNNews(which I mysteriously happened to get for free long enough to hear them say it on one of the nothing but text channels, they broke the news directly on-the-air. Maybe it would have been better to do it that way but the show didn't bother me at all, Boys & Girls Club actually received a very large donation through but all we found out what team he choose to sign w/ anything else I didn't pay attention to.

I will never forget the last 4 years

They have been wonderful

To be honest - the "fans" in Cleveland don't really deserve him. Just 2 weeks ago they were calling him all the names in the book. I find them worse than LeBron going back. I remember what they did to his jersey and his memorabilia - oh yeah and the Dan Gilbert Letter that was just taken down on Sunday. Not sure I understand why he would want to go back to all of that . . .

And you won't hear of anything like that happening here. We loved LeBron while he was here. Micky Arison wrote a beautiful tweet to LeBron - nothing vindictive. That is class, just like the rest of the Miami Heat organization!!

If you help a team get wins, any and all sins are forgotten. In baseball for example lots of non Nats fans say lots of nasty things about Bryce Harper, yet if he was hitting HR's for their team he'd suddenly b a not so bad guy

Seriously who could write this. I can't believe all that happened, unique career as far as teams played for by the greats.

Good job Cleveland because he wouldn't go back to a lottery team, they did a pretty good job building a team for the future and the ability to now trade for Kevin Love was a attractive option for both players. The big 3 James/Love/Irying > James/Bosh/Wade.
