Chihuahuas adopt a Chihuahua from the Humane Society of El Paso
One little dog has gone from wandering the streets to being part of the team.
The El Paso Chihuahuas have adopted a real-life Chihuahua dog from the Humane Society of El Paso.
The dog will make her debut at Sunday's game, where fans can vote on her name with a $1 donation. Her name will be one of the following: Ruby, Lola, Reina, Estrella or Rosa.
Kandolite Flores, associate director for the Humane Society, said the dog was found on an East El Paso street without any identification tags or microchip and the dog was turned into Animal Services but never claimed by an owner....

How about one for the first X number of fans who show up on Chihuahua Day? Thanks to Paris Hilton 
, there are tons of them in shelters all over. 
But hopefully the animal shelter won.
Unusual rain in El Paso over the weekend. It is in the Chihuahuan Desert.
