A lot of sports writers are saying Denver, New England or New Orleans. But until proven otherwise, I've got to go with the Seahawks.

Healthy Oline. A strong 1-2 punch at receiver w/ deep threat Michael Floyd and Fitzgerald (only 1 drop last season) to move the chains. They also have a sleeper in John Brown who is blazing fast as well as a solid group of TEs. Improved secondary which was one of the best in the league. Calais Campbell is an underrated player and they still have Abraham to cope w/ the Darnell Dockett loss. It also gives Dan Williams(1st round pick few years back) to see what he can do.Also Andre Ellington will be the feature back this season who had 5.5 YPC and is an effective receiver which combined w/ his speed = big plays.

They have two big questions, one is at linebacker w/ the loss of Dansby to Cleveland and the Daryl Washington suspension. Larry Foote and Kevin Minter will have to step up big. The other is Carson Palmer, he'll either throw for 5000 yards or be a pick machine but like him better in a second season w/ Bruce Arians' offense.

They also have a tough schedule w/ San Francisco twice, Seattle twice, Denver, Kansas City, San Diego, Detroit, and the NFC East.

Does that mean they will? Odds favor no but they have the talent to do it and it helps SF is having problems.

I was halfway listening to Mike&Mike this morning as I was pulling on my pantalones, and I think I heard Greenie say that the last eight SB champs failed to even win a playoff game the next season.

And, although it pains me to say it, i think the Packers are going to be quite dangerous this year. They make me nervous and i'm already hoping wild card over division win for my guys.

Has little to nothing to do whether this Super Bowl champ repeats or wins a playoff game.

Ravens & Giants were average teams that had changing rosters after their years. Green Bay was even better in the regular season following their Super Bowl victory but fell to the Giants. Saints made it back but had to play on the road @ Seattle. Even though that team was 7-9 they added Lynch and had a quality mix of veterans & rookies on that D. Plus it was in one of the toughest road stadiums. I can keep going but you get the idea. Each team had a unique set of circumstances that don't really apply to the Seahawks.

They're nearly the same identical team. Biggest losses were Sydney Rice to retirement and Golden Tate to Detroit. Harvin is healthy so theoretically they should have a better offense than last year.

I only wanted them to win because they played Payless Douchebag's team, but I can't say I'd root for them in any other circumstances.

The SB halftime show will suck. Not exactly going out on a limb on that, though.

NY Knicks owner, Jim Dolan, has a lot of money and his own band:

Brady then retires and becomes an action movie star with a dumb catch-phrase like: "Tweet this, asshole!" or "I un-friend you!"

That O-line is in shambles. And Rodgers was throwing to Nelson like he'd never thrown to him before. And Nelson didn't have Sherman to deal with.

but when the other team scores 36 points there is a reason. Green Bay is still having a problem with tackles and defense wins games imo.

Though the scoring of 36 points could have also been halted had the GB offense stayed on the field longer.

Seahawks are the real deal. That's for sure. I hope they repeat. Well, actually, I hope the Vikings win it all but that ain't happening, so, go hawks.

I take solace in the fact that Russell Wilson was a Badger for awhile

Wonder if he can really repeat? That would be something for a young QB like him!
