I must admit that I'm not thrilled about seeing A&M get first place votes. TexasTowelie Sep 2014 #2

Will have to check the status on the injuries. Both the UCLA and Arizona State QB got injured two Saturdays ago but only one made the national news -- the one that plays for LA.

If they should get #1 we will never hear the end of it.

BTW, in the game that mannered to me: East Texas Baptist 58 Southwestern 34 in Marshall. It was ETB 31 SU 27 game at half, but SU fell apart at the end of the second quarter with a high snap over the punter's head for an ETB TD and it continued in the third quarter when the SU QB was injured. We still had over 540 yards of offense and its the first time we scored over 30 points so there were a lot of good things happening. Next game up is at Oklahoma Baptist--they are transitioning from NAIA to NCAA Div. II next fall so they already have athletic scholarships while our team doesn't.
