(29,322 posts)In response to the question all he said was Miami would have had a greater chance, not the same thing. I think it is a pretty obvious statement, w/ a chance to go for 4 would have been hard to pass up and if Miami entered free agency w/ that 3rd straight title they would have had a greater chance at landing Lebron than they did this off-season.
I know it was the reporter's headline (a straightforward headline probably wouldn't have as many hits) but I see the comment's section over there buying the statement as fact.

Bad English, but it translates to me as "I'm only for myself."

(29,322 posts)It's a greater chance (to return to Miami), for sure, I mean, it would be hard to leave back-to-back-to-back championships and try to go for four. But, obviously, you really can't live and think of what may have happened. For me, I've always been a person kind of live in the moment."
The way I took that statement based on the sentence that follows is that he isn't the kind of person that wonders what might have been.
Translation "You can't change the past but you can live in the present."
