BOSTONHaving watched the Patriots win their fourth Super Bowl title in 14 years, sports fans across New England issued a thoughtful and introspective joint statement Wednesday announcing that they in no way deserve any of the success their teams have enjoyed over the past two decades. When you stop and think about it, were loud-mouthed, were antagonistic, and were unbearably pompous, so theres really no way we should have been able to enjoy four Super Bowls, three World Series, an NBA title, and a Stanley Cup since 2001, read the statement in part, which added that you can think of at least a dozen other fan bases off the top of your head that would be far better served than Boston with teams that combined for nine different championships over the last 15 years. The 2004 World Series was really the only thing that you could argue we had coming after waiting almost 100 years since our last one. But considering the way we angrily overreact to the slightest criticism of our teamsalways brushing off even warranted criticism as jealousy or resentmentwhile also whining like crybabies about every little thing that doesnt go our way, its hard to understand how we ended up in this spot. Were obviously going to enjoy the win over the Seahawks, but lets be honest here, we all know deep down that we dont deserve this in the slightest. At press time, residents of New England collectively decided that showing up to Wednesdays Super Bowl championship parade would only perpetuate their utterly obnoxious and arrogant persona, leaving Patriots coaches and players to drive through the completely empty and silent streets of downtown Boston.

This cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys was involved in a hit-and-run on January 14, 2003. Two people were killed in this incident. As a result, Goodrich served eight years in prison on two counts of criminally negligent homicide. He was released from prison on October 5, 2011.
11. Thomas Hollywood Henderson
Playing as a linebacker from 1975 to 1980 with the Dallas Cowboys, Henderson had a career that included a visit to the Pro Bowl and 3 Super Bowl victories. Henderson was convicted of smoking cocaine with two teenage girls and exchanging drugs for consensual sex. Henderson decided to plea no contest to the charges and had eight months in a rehab center and 28 months in prison.

New England took a chance on Aqib Talib who has multiple arrests, all seemingly related to violence. Though his arrests count to Tampa Bay's total, only issues he had at NE that I know of was taking Adderall.
Then there is "Don't touch me, I'm a professional athlete" Ty Law. Actually, he didn't do anything major. That quote I believe comes from when he was partying in Miami and for one reason or another he took off from police on foot, when they caught up to him that he is when he uttered one of my favorite quotes.
Certainly adding Blount raises some eye brows, somehow I'm not surprised he was the one holding up the "Bitch Mode" shirt. Patriots, as an organization don't care too much except contributing on the field which I can respect. Corey Dillon & Randy Moss were moves I fully applauded at-the-time they were made. Talib is also one of the best CBs in the game.

I think the Patriots got rid of all their murderers and justice will be served. That's the best you got? If so, that's poor.
Unlike Baltimore:

(5,909 posts)I didn't know you weren't a Baltimore fan but would have posted it anyway as I can't stand Ray Lewis.
Maybe you deserve another apology for being a Dallas fan. Kidding!
