NFL player found with gun, weed, nearly $200K
STARKE, Fla. - A traffic stop in Starke Tuesday night for swerving led to felony drug and weapons charges for a NFL player, authorities said Wednesday.
According to the Starke Police Department, an officer stopped a 2015 Dodge Ram driven by Green Bay Packers defensive end Letroy Shelton Guion, Jr. near the 2300 block of North Temple Avenue just after 11 p.m. As the officer approached the car, he could smell a "strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle," police said.
Police said Guion, Jr., who was allegedly hanging partially out of the driver's window, asked the officer if he knew who he was. That's when the officer had Guion, Jr. exit the vehicle. He then radioed for backup.

As officers continued their search, the Starke native allegedly grew "extremely uncooperative and hostile," at one point even "rushing" the driver's side of the truck. Guion, Jr. was handcuffed and detained after trying to remove a black bag from the truck, police said.

(32,064 posts)we had BJ Raji out injured this year and LeTroy got a one million (one year) deal. He was reportedly in talks with the Pack for a longer term contract (defense, nose tackle).
Now we learn he is allegedly a drug dealer (which is what myriad little bags, unlicensed weapon and tons of cash tend to mean) ... so he is likely out of the picture in terms of next year's team.
