(31,177 posts)Bruce Miller, a San Francisco 49ers fullback, was arrested by Santa Clara police on suspicion of domestic battery, authorities said Monday.
Miller, 27, was arrested about 11:55 p.m. Thursday on suspicion of misdemeanor battery of a spouse or cohabitant, according to the Santa Clara police log.
Santa Clara police Lt. Kurt Clarke confirmed Millers arrest but said he could not provide details, including the location of the incident and who called police.
Scanner recordings reviewed by The Chronicle revealed that the alleged victim called police to the Posh Bagel at 3957 Rivermark Plaza about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, saying she was behind the restaurant and that her boyfriend had attacked her and took her keys.

(31,177 posts)Despite making just 10 starts in 2014, outside linebacker Dan Skuta led the 49ers with three forced fumbles and ranked third on the team with five sacks.
And a day after he concluded the best season his six-year career, Skuta was anticipating an even brighter future.
I want this to be the start of something good, Skuta said. I want to get better and better.
It appears Skuta, 28, will attempt to take the next step with a different team in 2015. Skuta is expected to sign with the Jaguars when free agency begins

We hardly noticed the absence of many starting LBs this year partly because of his play. Awesome special teams player as well. He will be greatly missed.
