hire and promote on merit, not looks. I'm so tired of that over substance.

That said, there is something about Hannah Storm that's always rubbed me the wrong way ... much like Bob Costas.

Jemele Hill.....love her and there are a couple of other women that are on "Around the Horn" sometimes.....can't think of their names right now. There are a few that really know their sports and that I respect and admire.....most talkers though are just empty dresses. Ugh....

What do you mean? Like women reporters?

There are some I really like, most I don't though and get terribly tired of them reading headlines and scores.

Not necessarily on the "analysis" shows where they get 1 broadcaster and a bunch of former coaches and players, but certainly on the "sportscenter" type shows where they're just running down scores and highlights.

but, I guess that a good looking long haired blond with a short skirt or a sleeveless dress reading the scores, and saying a "cool side of the pillow" thing just doesn't do it for me. Might do it for some guys....but shoot, I'm watching sports and seriously don't need women telling me what the guys are doing. JMHO. Again. But, OMG sports HAVE ALWAYS BEEN FOR GUYS.

These broads are gonna start showing up here in the sports forum, and try to talk sports with the guyz!
