They could've aired the M's and A's, or even the Royals and Angels instead. Every time NYY and BOS play each other, they're pretty much guaranteed at least 1 game on ESPN. I used to think they always air those 2 teams because of how good they were, but now I'm thinking that it's some other reason. There are other teams that are at least as good as those 2, yet hardly ever get any play on that channel. This game was one-sided right from the start.

Nationally, other teams simply don't get the same numbers.
