Johnny Manziel says he's ditching signature money sign

Whether Johnny Manziel will be better on the field during his second NFL season remains to be seen.

However, it will be a different Manziel in at least one notable regard this fall.

The Cleveland Browns quarterback broke his offseason mainstream media silence Wednesday -- the only interview he'd done since the end of last season was with the WWE during a card Monday in Cleveland - and addressed some lingering topics, per the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Most notably, Manziel said one of the hallmarks of his Johnny Football persona is history. "The money sign will not be back," he said. That would be the same money sign his opponents used to mock him while he struggled during his rookie season.
