I would have put him in this post if he had been in the Hall of Fame. I was shocked to find out that he wasn't!

Sure the Raiders had other legends like Guy Blanda, Belitnikoff, Upshaw, et al, but Stabler deserves to be there as much as any of those names IMO. And I suspect any of his teammates would say the same.

Even this old Pats fan that hates the Raiders from way back liked the Snake. He made football exciting. Can't believe he's not in the HoF.
