Related: About this forumHigh school player intercepts spiked ball.
That's just some good hustle, right there.
Trailing 14-6 at home against Crivitz, Zahn made a diving interception with about 15 seconds remaining in the first half to halt a drive inside the Tigers 10-yard line.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound defensive tackles pick of an attempt by Wolverines senior quarterback Sebastian Atwood to stop the clock with a forceful spike on third down was nothing short of amazing.
I couldnt believe it at first, said Zahn.
I was at the right place, right time, with the right idea. It just all came together perfectly.

(78,249 posts)1. For a second I had an image of a ball with spikes driven through it!
And yes, that would tend to make it deflated.

My wife's dad grew up in Gillett (accent on the first syllable). One of our make-or-break dates early on was going to her family reunion there and memorizing the names and attributes of her 33 first cousins on that side during the ride up from Milwaukee.

Wow, was that heads up! The line didn't really block because they knew it was a clock kill, so he just burst through and dove. Very cool
