Related: About this forumToronto fans start petition to have Canadian mounties investigate conspiracy against Blue Jays
The petition, which had 9,600 signatures as of Sunday night, included a letter to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. It reads:
Investigate MLB For Match Fixing and Conspiracy Against The Toronto Blue Jays. The evidence is clear, MLBs refusal to open the dome, the matinee starts during the week, while games in Texas will be during prime time, The MLB Network Broadcasters openly criticizing Torontos crowd, the blown review of Troy Tulowitzkis tag on Rougned Odor at second base, when video evidence clearly showed Odor off the bag, and last but not least, the inconsistent, embarrassing strike zone of home plate umpire Vic Carapazza. The motives for this conspiracy is clear: Major League Baseball wants teams to go deep in to the playoffs that will be profitable in the American market, so having Canadas only team win one of the most competitive divisions in the league and be the higher seeded team in the ALDS is less then ideal for them.

Because I'm okay with it if it was.

(20,365 posts)6. Do you guys really call a baseball game a "match"???
Like Cricket?
I'd like to see the Blue Jays move to somewhere more appreciative - like Mexico.

I am sure the RCMP has more pertinent things to investigate, besides the fact that an MLB home plate umpire is making up his own strike zone. Pssssttt...Several others have been doing that, as well. The same goes for blown calls elsewhere on the field. Now, off to get some things done before the Cubs-Cards game starts at 4:30 ET (i.e, matinee time).
