Selig's salary, according to the baseball official, is tied to MLB's total revenues, which have risen to more than $7 billion a year.

I didn't know that -- no wonder he seems to turn a blind eye to the plight of small market teams and wants extended playoffs. A small conflict on interest, IMO.
