Thoughts on the first half of Arizona @ Cleveland

After Cleveland recovered Chris Johnson's fumble forced by former Cardinals LB Karlos Dansby Cleveland was targeting the 5'9" Mathieu with 6'7" TE Barringer in the red zone. First throw, Mathieu was in position to pick it off but Barringer's size allowed him to move in front but still came through with the deflection. Next throw they targeted him again and scored the touchdown.

Cleveland came in with a good gameplan taking advantage of matchups and working them through the whole game. Still a lot of time left but playing an out-of-conference road game after Monday Night wins is tough but that usually is the case with in-conference games rather than a win against a team from the same division. Palmer missed Fitzgerald deep by inches and Malcolm Floyd by feet for deep throws early in the game. The good news is playing Cleveland on the road means they have the Bengals at home later in the season.

Also McCown came a long way since he was drafted and was a third string QB for Arizona.
