Warriors tickets: Price to watch Golden State try for NBA record soars

http://www.mercurynews.com/warriors/ci_29154890/ticket-prices-watch-warriors-look-make-history-are

Fans looking to purchase tickets to see the 15-0 Golden State Warriors try to set the record for the best start in NBA history with a win Tuesday at Oracle Arena against the Los Angeles Lakers will face steep prices.

VIP seats were being listed for as much as $5,264 each as of Monday morning on Warriors.com, where the team directs fans looking to purchase resale tickets through Ticketmaster. An upper level seat could be had for as little as $263....

SeatGeek, a ticket search engine, categorized the listings it had available for the game as "awful deals." A single ticket could be had for as little as $405, with a front-row seat going for as much as $1,733 each.

The first 10,000 fans to enter the gates do get the added benefit of receiving Draymond Green championship edition bobbleheads.

Something tells me Luke Walton will soon become one very hot commodity.

Kobe Bryant had four points on 1-of-14 shooting, perfectly illustrating the shift of power in the NBA’s Pacific Division. The Oakland arena, which used to be split close to 50-50 when the Lakers were in town, included only a handful of purple and gold jerseys and got playoff loud every time Bryant missed.

And until then they will need rebuilding...but it's a team built around a guy who is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay past his prime.

felt bad for the Lakers last night after they got embarrassed, but then I remembered: they're the Lakers! To me, they're almost the NBA equivalent of the Yankees. They rub their 16 titles in the faces of everyone else, their fans always try to invade the Oracle when the Lakers are in town, and Kobe is a ball hog. Let them suffer for a decade or two like we did.

It is impossible to imagine a team with LeBron James, or certainly Michael Jordan, sucking as badly as the Fakers do even with Kobe.
