Donald Trump Finally Distances Himself from Unrepentant Cheater Tom Brady

NEW YORK — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump caved to pressure to apologize for the first time today since his controversial campaign began by saying he can no longer support New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

“He can’t win nationwide and get moderates to vote for him if he’s closely linked to such a divisive person like Tom Brady,” said one political expert who has consulted Trump’s campaign.

The real estate billionaire used strong language to denounce Brady today, resorting to the sort of talk he normally reserves for terrorists, women, POWs, people of color, non-Christians and presidential candidates who are unattractive.

“This guy is a cheater, okay? I mean, he said breaking his phone was just a coincidence and expected us to believe the Patriots really called one of their trainers ‘The Deflator’ because he was trying to lose weight. I mean, gimme a break,” said Trump, smirking for repeatedly. “And this is after the Patriots already cheated once. How dumb does this guy think we are, right? This is a guy who left his pregnant girlfriend to shack up with a supermodel. This is a guy who had gunfire at his wedding. This is a guy who curses and screams on TV when kids are watching. This is a very bad person, okay? Not a good guy. I know good guys, okay? And he’s not a good guy. He’s not a guy I support.”
