At 6-foot-4, he walked with the swagger of a successful high school athlete even if his pale, fleshy physique no longer looked much like a figurine atop a trophy. He spoke confidently of the minutiae of sports doping, including NFL-banned hormone Delta-2 (or D-2), HGH, Adderall, Dexedrine, Toradol, Ipamorelin and how long it takes testosterone to leave the human body.
And, unknowingly part of Al Jazeera Americas controversial investigation of performance-enhancing drugs, a man the network identified as doctor of pharmacy Charlie Sly wasnt shy about sharing his knowledge and pushing his products.
I can give you something to use right now, Sly told Liam Collins, reportedly pushing steroids on the British hurdler Al Jazeera had go undercover. Theres a bunch of football players who take this. And a bunch of baseball players who take it, too.
Sly if his recorded statements accurately convey his views, perhaps the least discreet advocate of performance-enhancing drugs ever also opened up about his alleged clients.

Meanwhile, Sly a former unpaid intern at the Indianapolis-based Guyer Institute of Molecular Medicine, which treated Manning, as The Washington Posts Barry Svrluga and Mark Maske reported declared himself an unreliable narrator.
It has come to my attention that the broadcaster Al Jazeera has somehow obtained recordings or communications of me making statements concerning a number of athletes, and that Al Jazeera plans to air a program about them, Sly said in a denial posted to YouTube. Any recordings of me were made without my knowledge or consent. It is my belief that an individual named Liam Collins secretly made those recordings. Liam is a recruited fraudster who is banned in his native United Kingdom from running any investment businesses. The statements on any recordings or communications that Al Jazeera plans to air are absolutely false and incorrect.

(7,429 posts)It's pretty damning. He has information against multiple NFL players and all that is mentioned today is Peyton.
There is also a doctor on the report that states there are only 3 reasons why anyone would need HGH. I hope Peyton's wife has none of those conditions. Just saying . . .

(56,177 posts)I sort of don't blame him for wanting to extend his career, but if the NFL wants to have any credibility, they need to take these allegations seriously...I doubt they will.

(9,527 posts)Against Brady damning. Must be a case of homeritis that makes you ready to assume Manning cheated.

(42,998 posts)Would anyone take anything this admitted liar says truthfully? He said he was a pharmacist at first and turns out he was an unpaid intern. Manning was at this clinic I. 2011. This guy was an intern in 2013.
Of course the same person who thinks Brady is persecuted by the NFL is willing to believe Manning is a cheater on very thin evidence.
joeybee12
(56,177 posts)Then how did he know that the HGH was sent to Manning's wife and Manning even admitted Ashley received packages from this clinic? Yeesh...talk about a closed mind...too bad facts get in the way too often...such a shame. There's more evidence here than there ever was for Framegate...take a science class and learn something.
Nothing about the Nats being implicated? Hmmm

(42,998 posts)How he knows this. HIPAA laws should prohibit this info from being released. Tell me how an intern has access to private medical records ( I have the damnest time just getting MY medical records sent from doctors to doctors personally- the idea that some intern can get his hands on this records is insane. But I live in the real world and I don't have a personal hatred for Manning to bias me. And sorry, I need more than some crank throwing out random names to believe Ryam Zimmerman is cheating specially since the man is hurt all the freaking time
But go ahead and ignore evidence in your personal crusade Joey. lol at you telling me that I need science class. Where'd you get your degree from, Google?

(56,177 posts)I know people like you who dig in and refuse to believe or open her mind would react this way...it's amusing...just read the headlines and decide, don't dig deeper because it might cause doubt. Peyton hired Ari Flesicher to deflect the evidence and it's working...watch the documentary...people like Payless and Ari know most people are too lazy to do that so they can win the PR effort.

Worship the Hair, Joey.

(56,177 posts)Hmmm...but let's single Brady out because he has a hat...but hasn't given money.

(16,113 posts)than when someone basically says "those statements I made on the video aren't true because they were recorded without my knowledge and presented to you by someone who isn't trustworthy".
If it's not him in the video, that's a defense. If the video was edited to make it look like he said something he didn't, that's a defense. If he just didn't agree to be recorded when he said those things, that isn't a defense.
joeybee12
(56,177 posts)Bogus...Manning's goons or pay-off guys got to him.
hughee99
(16,113 posts)full of shit, but I wouldn't trust him when he says he's lying any more than I'd trust him when he says he's telling the truth. In my opinion, this is just something that should be looked into, just like it would be if Jacksonville's backup punter were accused of the same thing. As long as the NFL doesn't issue a "nothing to see here, please move along" statement in the next few days, they'll at least go through the motions of appearing to have a fair and honest hearing. Maybe they'll bring in the team that basically mailed in the Greg Hardy hearing.
joeybee12
(56,177 posts)company...how did this guy know that? There's something here.
hughee99
(16,113 posts)The only thing I'm really sure of is that the NFL has zero interest in finding out if this is true. If it turns out to be true, it won't be because an NFL investigator proved it, it will be because someone else confronted them with proof they couldn't dismiss.
joeybee12
(56,177 posts)The doping is always a step ahead of the testing, so they can get away with it, and the incentive is there to cheat. But you're right, the NFL will do nothing.
