2016 Horse Racing - Jeff Lukas dead at 58
D. Wayne Lukas' only son, Jeff passed away at age 58. Jeff was one of the biggest reasons for Wayne's early success but his career was cut short when he suffered a traumatic brain injury after being run over by the race horse, Tabasco Cat.
SI published this article a couple of years ago and it is well worth reading. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.
