and it's parked in the wrong 'Mudville'. Every West Coast historian knows the SF sports writer, Thayer, was thinking Stockton, Calif (Mudville) when he penned the famous poem "Casey at the Bat" in 1888.

Benjamin Holt invented the Caterpillar in Stockton because of that peat mud. Mudville was not a misnomer for Stockton.

Dr. J's Sixers were top-notch around that time as well. The Phils have picked off two World Series in the modern era. Super Bowls are, of course, a giant goose egg.
