OMGOSH.....there's a red carpet show prior to the NFL draft show on Thursday night!!!

When did the NFL become so glamorized?? I really don't care what the potential NFL football players ARE WEARING!!! It's one and a half hour long program on the NFL Network.

It's the off-season and they're trying to come up with original programming to fill time on 24-7-365 network for a sport that's only really played 6 months a year. I'm surprised they haven't started a reality show for NFL players' other talents (like the X-Factor) or marry one off (like the Bachelor). They could dedicate this time to updates on their "investigations" of HGH, concussions, domestic violence or Sam Hurd, but I'm sure those programming suggestions would get shot down immediately. Even if they did, those segments would be 30 seconds of "nothing to see here".

Anyone remember Sam Hurd, NFL player and drug dealer to the NFL? He got 15 years in jail, and the NFL said they were "investigating" it, but as far as I can tell, the NFL showed no interest in finding out who his clients were.
