I played hockey for nearly 3 decades, starting when I was 12, as well as coaching for a few years. We are a hockey crazy family who used to clear off the dugout or slough and nearly kill ourselves on the bumpy ice scrimmaging when all the town kids walked out to play (we were only a mile out and the rink sometimes wasn't open). The Leafs were sacred in my family, my Dad never missed a second watching one of their games. I'll be a Leafs fan until the day I die. My Dad's headstone base has a Leaf slogan on it that we carved in.

GO LEAFS!

But ....... hoping for a good season for every team, they're all great.

So mainly not a fan these days.

You guys were rocking it at the beginning. I was rooting for you as the East team to meet up with the Stars in SCF.

You can always root for the Stars now.

...but I thought we were a talented enough team to stay in playoff contention until he returned. We are not ready for a good playoff run with the players we have now.

With the Kings out, just hoping for 7-game series and rooting for underdogs. Caps look good and it wouldn't surprise me to see them win the Cup. Go Predators!
