Former Dallas Cowboys QB and current Fox Sports lead NFL analyst Troy Aikman is none too pleased that Fox has given sports commentator Skip Bayless his own show, no doubt because Bayless has repeatedly insisted that Aikman is gay.
Bayless first made the claims about Aikman in a 1996 book he wrote called Hell-Bent: The Crazy Truth About the Win or Else Dallas Cowboys.
Aikman has denied that he is gay and has reportedly been incensed by the suggestion since the 1990s.
Now that the two will be working at the same network, Aikman has blasted Fox for hiring Bayless.

(9,527 posts)what with him saying the same thing about sexual preference. Not to mention Bayless is the one who decided it was worthwhile to print rumors (with the same sort of some people say that Trump uses to hint about things without directly saying it) which means that at the very least Bayless thought it was appropriate to try to out somebody.
Aikman is wrong for saying being gay is a choice. But Bayless is the one who used rumors of it to sell his column which I regard as ethically worse.
