High school athletes' silent protest during national anthem

http://www.1011now.com/content/news/High-school-athletes-silent-protest-during-national-anthem-392959791.html

A Lincoln High School athlete protested during the national anthem.

Southeast football player, Sterling Smith and a teammate kneeled during the national anthem as a silent protest at Seacrest Field.

Athletes who have done this in the past have called this a nod to NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick who sat during the national anthem during the preseason.

In August Kaepernick told the press he was protesting what he deemed as wrongdoings against minorities in the U.S.

Hopefully Kaep will take two knees tomorrow. One in protest, the other in victory.
