The latest is the teams nasty feud with the city it now calls home, Santa Clara. The Santa Clara City Council voted this week to find the 49ers in violation of the stadium agreement that was approved by voters in 2010. The council gave the team 30 days to produce documents that will show exactly how much money the stadium makes and how that money is being spent.
The 49ers responded by saying the councils action was frivolous. And, to be fair, the 49ers know quite a bit about frivolous actions.
One resident stood up at the City Council meeting and said, The 49ers are broken all around the place. They dont know how to run a football team. They dont know how to run anything.

It was just two years ago that Seattle embarrassed the 49ers first in a Thanksgiving game and then after it by eating turkey on the Levis Stadium field. That remains the most significant 49ers event to take place at Levis. York responded by sending out an apology tweet after that game. Going into that game, the 49ers were 7-4. They finished 8-8 and Jim Harbaugh was sent packing.

The Santa Clara move was a fucked-up idea from Day One. Adding insult to injury, the team priced-out their faithful fans and fired their best headcoach in nearly two decades. Welcome to football hell, York ownership. You've earned it.

(78,249 posts)Not the defense that thinks it's playing flag football. Not the quarterback who takes a knee before the game, but never at the end in victory. None of that. A frivolous action by one of the worst-governed cities in the Bay Area is what's keeping them spiraling down. Yeah, that's the ticket. Just ask my wife, Morgan Fairchild, who I've seen naked.
