Cleveland Cavaliers' Moondog sinks half-court shot
May 25 (UPI) -- If J.R. Smith makes a half-court shot in Boston, what happens 640 miles away?
The Cleveland Cavaliers mascot answers back at Quicken Loans Arena with a half-court heave of his own, of course.

The Cavaliers guard known for his ability to hit low-percentage long-distance shots tried out one from the Celtics logo Thursday at TD Garden. He stood at half-court and put the ball in his right hand. Smith then tossed the ball underhanded toward the hoop before it swished through the net.

Moondog, the Cavaliers' mascot, impressed fans back in Cleveland at a watch party hosted at the home arena. The dog-costumed character put his back to the basket and heaved the basketball over his head from half-court. That shot also swished.
