NY Jets trying to win next year's "Most Ugly New Uniform" contest?

Sports apparel companies like Nike are slowing destroying the classic looks of teams in all sports. Until recently, you could just glance at the TV screen and know who was playing. Now, especially with colleges, the freaking uniforms have become so ugly and change so much, you have to check your guide to know who is playing. A friend of mine from NYC sent me this pic of the proposed latest NY Jet's ugly attire. He is a Giants fan and laughing his ass off.....

I, too, like to put on the TV and immediately see what team is playing. I've started rooting for the wrong team at times, because they don't always uphold the traditions of home and away colors.

Problem is, some people actually like these, and of course, the companies and teams make huge money, but I am not a fan.

10. Helmet logo - tail end of a plane or an artist's simplistic take on a dead dinosaur?

I don't think invisibility is going to give them a competitive advantage.

It is like a spinoff of the 90s Jets uniform designs which were terrible this isn't great but a better version. The current version is a modern retro uniform.

15. Doesn't the league have some sort of rule about how often you can change your helmet?

Personally, I like college ball better because they are more flexible with uni changes. Keeps it fresh.
