First reported by TMZ sports, but confirmed by several other sources including ESPN, WaPo, USA Today, and local LA radio. 41 years old.
All 5 on board died.

Kobe, far from perfect, had begun several years ago speaking about on the human condition, and about how people need people--about us being there for each other.

Sad that his work ended early.
