Post your ride

[IMG][/IMG]

My '02 Thunderbird. I do have the hardtop, also yellow... I'll update with another pic when I have it on again... I'll get some with the rag top down as well... I'll try to get something cool now that I'm in scenic Colorado

The Jet Bird is my favorite classic Thunderbird, especially with the optional tonneau cover that fits over the rear seats.

This is my TR6 I bought in '98. I had a Spitfire for about 7 years before that. Now that I'm retired, I'm privileged to say, it's all I care to do:

My great friend and fellow DUer, SampleGirl has the "hers" version, a '64 Triumph TR4. It's considerably nicer than mine, and she lets me work on it. hahaha

We're also from Ohio (near Y'Town).

I always wanted a Spitfire until I got a ride in one. Not for my 6'3" frame.

My cousin Nan got a white '66 MGB as a HS graduation present that the TR4 reminds me a lot of.

I finally had to sell the little roadster this past September due to my failing health.
But we sure had some fun including this particular day.

Her body is almost perfect. The electronics... Sigh... A work in progress.

That said, I have had no problems driving her cross country from NC to Chicago, on multiple occasions. She eats the mountain twisties near the NC/TN border like a midnight (when I'm usually driving them) snack.

Eventually, she'll have a new interior (Imola Red), once I get rid of the gremlins.

I put 80,000 miles on it before I lost it. My dog loved it too. Not so much with the top down, but she leaned up against the side with her front feet on the small arm rest in the back seat while she hung out the window. I know she misses it too. I always kept her in a harness tethered to the tether loop.

It was a great California car.
