Is it a locking lug that was stripped or is the carrier bolt in the hub damaged also. Could be minimum shop charge or well over an hour. Some hubs require a puller if you can't get the bolt in without removal.

So ask questions if it seems pricey.

Lug nuts are cheap. I bought bridgestone tires from a local tire shop and the mechanic broke two lug nuts while installing my wheels. So I went to Costco to get replacement ones. I paid $20 for a set of 20.
