TIm Hudson loses long-awaited World Series debut; Giants down 2-1

The Giants played their first World Series game in two years at AT&T Park on Friday night, but it was hard to tell by the silence of the crowd, which mirrored the silence of the San Francisco bats and reflected a scoreboard that bore no good news for the faithful.
