Seven speed Megarange gears. 700x35c tires, looks nice for commuting and rail trail rides. Fenders are cool.

What better way to show us the love - for the environment and for Sierra Club - than to ride your very own custom Sierra Club bicycle? Hop on your bike and pedal to work, to a picnic in the park, to a trailhead for your next hike or to your corner store. Wherever your destination, you're sure to enjoy the ride.

Sierra Club bikes will be available for a limited time. Order Early Decision by November 18, 2012 and your bike will be delivered in May 2013; order Regular Decision by December 25, 2012 for delivery in June 2013.

This is the first-ever official Sierra Club bicycle, and it is designed for those of us who enjoy human-powered exhilaration.

Not only will you avoid traffic and circling the block for a parking space, but you can also feel good knowing a portion of the sale of each Sierra Club bike will go back to the Sierra Club to support the mission to explore, enjoy, and protect the planet. Please consider becoming a Sierra Club member to receive a member discount on this custom bike.

The special-edition Sierra Club bicycle, made by PUBLIC, combines stunning European-inspired design with comfort and performance. The steel frame, rear rack, chain guard, fenders, and inside rim will be painted in a custom, glossy green and finished with the Sierra Club logo in white on the head tube and rear fender.

The slogan "Explore, enjoy and protect the planet" appears on both sides of the frame down tube. The Sierra Club bicycle is a lightweight, easy-shifting, seven-speed bike designed for stop-and-go riding. It's ideal for rides in any urban terrain, whether you want to zip around town or take the scenic route. Comfortable enough for everyday trips for casual riders and reliable enough to be your everyday, rain-or-shine, commuter workhorse.
